Busselle, Michael - Judge I've been a professional photographer for more than four decades with many of those spent running a studio in London's West End where I photographed subjects ranging from still life and fashion to industry and nudes. But travel and landscape photography is my greatest love and for the past fifteen years I've concentrated on this, along with writing and illustrating books and articles on travel, wine and photographic technique. My first book, Master Photography, sold more than a million copies world wide and my 50th book has just been published, Masterclass in Photography -Pavilion/Chrysalis Books. I've held a number of one-man exhibitions at various venues, including the Photographer's Gallery, and my photographs are marketed world-wide by several major international photo libraries. I've recently begun to make and sell fine-art prints from some of my favourite images. I have been published both locally and at national level as a photographer as well as an author of articles which accompany my own photography. My work has been exhibited in various events, including The Big Picture Exhibition at Exeter Cathedral, Exeter, Devon and The Exeter Autumn Festival 2004. My photographic products include calendars and cards which have sold well both on the local and the national market. Much of my work is carried out using an Olympus E-20P with the various lenses. I am the founder member of photography-club.co.uk and I am currently forming The Alphington Photographic Group as the first of its local divisions. My tastes are very varied, and I am happy with any subject providing it brings me pleasure in making a print or in use as a transparency.
