1. Why such a long registration process?

PhoTournament is a free service offering exposure and recognition to its members by organizing competitions in the disciplines of Photography and PhotoArt.
Therefore, it becomes very important to associate each existing account with a person who actually has a keen interest in those disciplines and who can actively participate to the life of this website.
As you will discover, the registration process is not really lengthy and it has been studied to avoid fictional users while enforcing the website's quality standards.

2. What is in the other steps?

In the second step you will provide us with your e-mail address which will be used for the sole purpose of keeping you informed of the website's events.
In the third step you will provide us with a way of viewing your Photography (and/or PhotoArt).
In the fourth step you will provide us with your personal data which includes your real name, your gender, your date of birth and the country where you live.
In the fifth step you will answer a very short questionnaire (3 questions), to let us know what Photography (and/or PhotoArt) is for you.
In the sixth step you will examine the Terms and Conditions and, if you choose to, you will accept them therefore completing your application which will be examined and, if possible, accepted.

3. Is PhoTournament a free service?

Yes, PhoTournament is completely FREE.
After all some of the best things, if not all of them, come for free in life.
To complete the registration process and, if your application is accepted, to become a member will cost you nothing.
Also, you will NOT be asked for credit details during the registration process.

4. What about the password?

A random password will be generated and sent to you via e-mail if your application will be accepted. You can change such a password by accessing the Account option, available after logging in as a member.
